What Questions Do You Have?

Conference Pricing: Our all-day legal conference includes 6 hours of CE credit, lunch, prizes, and drawings for:
 
  • $150 for our regular ticket.
  • $75 for Membership Clients (see below).
  • $65 for Membership Clients purchasing 10+ tickets (you can split your staff between both locations).

Our annual membership pricing is $795/yr and includes discount tickets and priority invitations to our conferences, free attorney consultations throughout the year, and discounts on our other fees.

We're excited about this year's lineup! Here's a list of our new and updated classes we'll be covering throughout the day:
 
  • Advanced Eviction Training (1 Hr Core CE Credit) – We'll walk through possible grounds for eviction, eviction notices, and the eviction process. We want you to be confident when your case ends up in front of the judge.
  • Deep Dive into ESA's (1 Hr Core CE Credit*) – Yes, this is a fair housing class, but it isn't your regular fair housing class. We'll go in-depth to talk about some real-life ESA letters and requests that have come through our office. You'll be an ESA expert!
  • Fit Premises Act (1 Hr Core CE Credit) – It's critical to know state laws for both landlords and tenants when dealing with rentals. We'll talk about how to handle repairs and habitability timelines and issues that come up, especially if a tenant gives a “Notice of Deficient Conditions”.
  • Panel - Working with Difficult Tenants (1 Hr CE Credit*) – Our panel discussion will talk about the laws you need to operate under, but we'll also focus on practical advice and helpful resources to deal with difficult tenants and difficult situations.
  • New Laws for Landlords (1 Hr Core CE Credit) – Landlord/Tenant laws are constantly changing and you need to keep current on those changes. We'll cover the current updates from this year, some of the important changes from the last few years, and some of law changes we'd like to see in the future.
  • Eviction Trial & Error - What would you do? (1 Hr CE Credit*) – Put your knowledge to the test! We'll give you some of the crazy situations our clients call us about and let you play attorney.
* These classes are pending approval for CE Credit from the Utah Division of Real Estate.

Want to bring your entire crew but don't want to close the office for the day? We're doing two conferences for your convenience.

  • Sandy - August 6th (Tuesday) at the Realtor Building (where the Utah Rental Housing Association office is) starting at 9 AM, ending at 4 PM.
  • Orem - September 19th (Thursday) at Keller Williams Westfield's conference/training room.

Our primary attorney, Jeremy Shorts, will be taking the lead on our classes with help from others in our office as well as a panel discussion.

Anyone in the rental housing industry, especially those with regular interaction with landlords or tenants. We'll cover a wide range of beneficial topics, including the eviction process, fair housing and ESA's, new laws for landlords, and more.

Tickets include all classes, lunch, prizes, drawings, and more!

Plan on spending the entire day with us! Registration begins around 8:30, classes start at 9 AM, and the last class will end around 4 PM.
